I'm confused. The article title and infobox suggest that this article is about a former LIRR station called Winfield Junction, but the main text suggests that the former station was called Winfield and the location of the station is now a junction point named Winfield Junction. If it's the latter then this article is wrongly named; it should be at
Winfield station (New York) and the lead should focus on the former station, with a passing mention that the location on the LIRR is now called Winfield Junction.

It was a junction and a station. If it were just a junction it would've been named "Winfield Junction (Long Island Rail Road)" Another Winfield Junction also existed in Pennsylvania (see
here). ---------

But when it was a station, was it called Winfield or Winfield Junction? The article text, as written, suggests it was only ever the former, hence my confusion.
