The wiki article line reads "Since its premiere the show has received very negative reviews from critics." (no citation) However, the show has an IMDB rating above 7, as well as a decent Rotten Tomatoes score.
Perhaps its worth changing the line to "Since its premiere the show has received occasional criticism for..."

Just keep in mind the need for reliable sources and how the two you mention are rated at
WP:RSP:
The content on IMDb is user-generated, and the site is considered unreliable by a majority of editors.(
WP:IMDB)
Rotten Tomatoes is considered generally reliable for its review aggregation
There is consensus that user reviews on Rotten Tomatoes are generally unreliable, as they are self-published sources.
The unXplained section contains an entire paragraph on Parcak's criticism of the show's "racism". Accusations of racism are no trivial matter, and need to be substantiated. There is no substantiation in the paragraph, just her unprofessional criticism. The paragraph contains nothing noteworthy: either add substantive evidence (e.g. a good example) or it should be removed. It is NOT "ok" to throw around accusations of racism without having such evidence, and it is certainly wrong for Wikipedia to echo unsubstantiated slander (and I use the term slander carefully here).

Star Trek: Movie Memories - contradiction with James Doohan article
As I have noted at
Talk:James Doohan, but thought I should flag up here as well,
James Doohan's article (in the "After Star Trek" section) states that Doohan declined "to be interviewed by Shatner for Shatner's first Star Trek: Memories book about the show, nor did he consent to do so for Shatner's follow-up book, Star Trek: Movie Memories", but her it states that "Doohan was the only former Star Trek co-star who declined to be interviewed by Shatner for his first, 1993 memoir, Star Trek Memories. But Doohan did contribute to Shatner's sequel". This would seem to be a clear contradiction. Having not read Movie Memories I am not sure which is right (or if Doohan contributed without being interviewed by William Shatner), but I think this needs to be clarified to avoid the two articles suggesting completely different things about the book and James Doohan's connection with it.
