Find correct name
The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere.
The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.
Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

Can anyone provide a citation for Paul converting to Judaism? Sounds very strange. —Preceding

I'm just going to remove that now. It is highly dubious. He probably would not maintain the support of many of his subjects, and of special importance the bishops, if he had actually abandoned the Christian faith. Besides, Julian of Toledo says nothing about it, which is very surprising considering Julian's vehemently anti-Paul writing.
The Behnam 02:46, 27 September 2007 (UTC) Much of this article would appear to be a candidate for the "Legend" section. It has the same text as the article on "Flavius Paulus" formerly had, minus the supposed conversion removed by The Behnam 5 years ago. So the objections are the same: Lots of colorful detail unsupported by any contemporary source.--

Elvira
Another tale connecting Wamba with a stick or staff growing into a tree is "Elvira, the Sainted Princess." In this tale, Wamba is wise but merciless; his daughter, Elvira, who is a secret Christian, feeds the prisoners in Wamba's dungeon, leading to Wamba to condemn her to death by fire. After an intercession, Wamba says only if his royal staff grows will he not kill her. It does, and he becomes a Christian, apparently having been a Muslim (sic) before that.
