It wouldn't seem very practical. Arizona has dozens of fires each year. Redirecting it would make it look like this is the only fire that has occurred.

John McCain is claiming that the fire was caused by illegal immigrants to draw border agents away from the border. Is there any evidence that this might be, in any manner, true?
