Today, the word is actually used both ways. Sometimes it is used as a derogatary term, some times it is not. Though I do not particularily like the term, it has its particular uses when described using proper economic terms and understanding.

I made it a bit more readable. None of these mention "vulture capitalist"; without some
reliable sources making the connection, we cannot on our own conclude the "vulture" in "vulture capitalist" is the same anti-semitic trope as the caricatures.

The term "vulture" is anti-semitic, as already mentioned. Thus, the further use of it in any phrases like "vulture capitalist" is anti-semitic, too.--

Personally, I don't think the historical background and circumstances concerning the use of the "vulture" term and its derivatives is offtopic. Its connection to anti-Semitism is obvious. And it is still an on-going issue today, as discussed
here or
there.--

The term "vulture" is important. If someone would insult me with "You are a faggot" or with "You are a faggot student" - do you really think there is a difference?--

I removed a lot of erroneous and unsourced content and removed obvious non-RS citations. There is really nothing of substance here. Also the expression "vulture capitalist" was coined to refer to certain investors in distressed debt, a topic that's entirely missing from this article.

What, specifically, is wrong with the current version of the page? What are the issues? Because as far as I can see, the page blanking edit amounts to nothing more than vandalism under a (possibly false) claim of "making
truthy"; please, give me something more than argument by flat assertion. Thanks,Luc "Somethingorother" French17:11, 20 January 2021 (UTC)reply
