Was he born in Chicago, IL or Minneapolis, MN???????????? This article appears to contradict itself. Was he born in Wayzata or Minneapolis? ColinKennedy 14:23, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
We aren't people magazine, but there's certainly no use in ignoring the extensive media coverage related to Vaughn and Aniston, as it's obviously notable to Vaughn. As long as we clearly separate the facts from the rumors and say exactly who said what. It's also notable to the header, since it's been such a big part of the media coverage on Vaughn the past year - but I suppose the sentence in the header could be re-written. The reason I've changed "Web sites" (which isn't a Wikipedia subhead) to "References"/External links" comes from these sections of Wikipedia:Cite_sources, quoted verbatim below. (Please note in Item 2 below that the italics are theirs, and not inserted by me.) Thanks!

So sources used to write an article go under "References", and other helpful citations go under "External links" if they're linkable and "Further reading" if they're not online. — Tenebrae 19:47, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
i m not wikipedia top user so i dont know how to do it, so someone else shoulkd, links to movies vaughn played it them, like dodgeball.

Just because some idiot with a cell phone actually saw Vince Vaughn doesn't make the photo worthy of this article. Get something from a production company, where his FACE is visible. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.14.72.182 ( talk) 21:30, 4 April 2007 (UTC).
What makes him a 'Canadian American'? Anchoress 05:16, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
Actually he is now a Canadian citizen by law due to new Canadian citizenship laws that came into effect in April 2009. The designation 'Canadian American' now stands, as it is now entirely accurate.( 75.69.241.91 ( talk) 04:52, 16 July 2009 (UTC))
This article seems incomplete without some mention and/or photo of his weird right thumb. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.253.245.126 ( talk) 20:07, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
Vince looks part black...he has some skeletons in the closet. he looks quadroon to me like he has black grandma. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.60.227.70 ( talk) 15:25, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
He is a comedic actor isn't he, not a comedian? Halbared ( talk) 10:41, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
Why take out the fact that he has donated money to the Republican Party? There is clear precedent for celebrities to have their political leanings in their "personal life" section so why remove his? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.193.196.219 ( talk) 02:26, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
Vaughn has been very discreet and is not known for being overtly political, so if he donates to Republican candidates, it is not particularly noteworthy, and more a private matter. Donations don't necessarily make Vaughn a Republican.(

Vince Vaughn has recently endorsed Ron Paul as president for 2012 and is hosting the Liberty Political Action conference tonight. (September 16 2011) --

The "Official website" linked under Vince Vaughn#External links has a disclaimer which reads "vince-vaughn.com is a fansite and is not affiliated with Vince Vaughn." Probably makes sense to reword the link, unless someone knows something I don't. -- Jimbojw ( talk) 21:53, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
On September 11, 2010, two edits were made which stated that Vince Vaughn died on July 30, 2008, something which is obviously false. The edits are this one and this one. It stayed in there until yesterday, October 22, when I removed it. If it were to show up on the viewed version of the article, it probably would have been removed earlier. It probably didn't show up due to formatting and code discrepancies. I just thought that any interested party should be notified about that crooked edit and how long it stayed there. Happy editing. Backtable Speak to me concerning my deeds. 19:13, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
Just saw it myself -- I was about to revert, but it looks like it's already been fixed. Vince Vaughn isn't dead, from food poisoning, Jetski accident, or cliff-diving in New Zealand (which I believe has been attributed to Tom Hanks, among others). Guys, check your facts before changing information about a public personality! 207.6.147.86 ( talk) 14:57, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
I searched male doula and for absolutely no reason, was redirected to vince vaugn. There is absolutely no reason for this. He is not a doula. The word "doula" is not in the article once. I suspect this is some kind of vandalism. Someone please remove the redirect. 67.180.25.141 ( talk) 21:32, 16 March 2015 (UTC)
Hi - Has anyone got a wp:rs that supports birth name Vincent - I can't find one. Govindaharihari ( talk) 20:44, 6 December 2017 (UTC)
"Vince Vaughn" "full name"and, going on Google's big suggestion that it's "Vincent Anthony Vaughn," I Googled
"Vince" "Anthony Vaughn"and unearthed CBS and TV Guide on the first page of results and Playboy on the third. CityOf Silver 17:45, 7 December 2017 (UTC)
I removed this addition per WP:DUE. Trivial incident, about as meaningful as "movie stars are just like us!" with a photo of one in a grocery store. Even the source said some tweets criticized, some supported, and some were neutral. Schazjmd (talk) 21:38, 14 January 2020 (UTC)

Please remove from Personal Life section: "On June 10, 2018, Vaughn was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and resisting arrest in Manhattan Beach, California after failing a sobriety test at a police checkpoint. In May 2019, Vaughn was convicted of a reduced charge of reckless driving after he entered into a no contest plea and sentenced to 3 years' probation and ordered to undergo a three-month alcohol abuse program." as this contains false/misleading information backed by inaccurate sources. STRIKE THE WORD "FEATURED." **His first film role was 1993's Rudy playing Notre Dame football tailback Jamie O'Hara, where he also struck up a friendship with featured Jon Favreau, who was also a first-time actor.** 2601:243:4:E90A:4BD:D46D:EAD6:D234 ( talk) 01:33, 9 December 2021 (UTC)
