"no more was heard of the aerial COW gun"
The article ends - "no more was heard of the aerial COW gun." - Not true, although there were no more uses for fighters the COW gun was used in a nose installation on the big Blackburn Perth Flying boat, not only as a trial installation but also used in service. — Preceding
