Categorization in U.S. states in the American Civil War
With the readding of this category, this article is essentially now double-listed, as the article, and the "Vermont in the Civil War" category. I won't revert, but I just wanted to ensure that this double listing is reconsidered for posterity. Thanks.

Stevie, the "<state> in the Civil War" articles belong in the corresponding "Category:<state> in the Civil War" to help guide folks to the main articles as they are searching. When you create a Kentucky in the Civil War article (hint, hint), you should link it to
Category:Kentucky in the Civil War.

I guess we'll have to disagree on this one. This article shouldn't be categorized in "<state> in the Civil War" because the "Vermont in the Civil War" category already is. This subject is "enjoying" a double listing, and from my perspective, that is generally something that is not helpful to search. We should want to avoid clutter in the category system.
Re: a
Kentucky in the Civil War article, I'm currently working on
Louisville in the Civil War, as I know it much more intimately. Kentucky's history in the Civil War is very complex due to it being a border state, and not being a historian, I probably won't be able to tackle it anytime soon. Instead, I'm trying to create the conditions where the
History of Kentucky article gets built up, while also categorizing all "Kentucky in the Civil War" articles, both of which would lead to the "Kentucky in the Civil War" article ultimately.
