With respect to
WP:AUD: The
Vegan Congress article indeed has received attention from at least one
regional source, demonstrating an "indication of notability".
The Georgia Straight in particular, which does comply with the standards of
regional recognition ("a region such as a city, or part of a large city") has 61% of the market share of Vancouver's average adult weekly readership[1], with 68% of 30-39 readership.[2] This may not even factor in global online traffic and readership.
I have also removed Category:Vegan organizations from article page.
