The result of the move request was moved to
Vat Phou. Terms appear approximately equal in Google hits when restricted to non-wiki English pages, so the official name should probably prevail. Oh, yeah, and nobody objected, either. :) --

This should be either Vat Phou in the Lao orthography used in the UNESCO listing and Laos itself. Wat Phu should be noted as an alternative spelling in the Thai-style orthography, but "Wat Phou" is neither fish nor fowl.

Redirect from Wat Phu
There appears to be a problem with the redirect from Wat Phu - important as this is how a lot of people, including major guide books, spell it. Not sure how to fix it otherwise I'd do it myself.
