Unless a reasonable reason is given as to why the notable graduates should be removed from the article, stop removing them w/o reason, please. Luke 22:15, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
It seems that the vfs.com website is being heavily referenced, and many of the notable graduates are really not notable. Simply landing a job does not qualify for notability. It's fairly evident to me that there is advertising going on here. Euphonic 04:01, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
Either some people do not know how to use IMDB or there are some bitter people out there. If you know film at all then you should know of these people and they are notable people. Chad Moffitt,Clifton Murray,Ernesto Bottger,Daniel Osak,Kevin Smith and Jewel Staite these people are notable and some are award winners in-fact there is an academy award winner here.
I get the same impression regarding the advertising - there is a combination of alumni trying to put their own name out there and the school trying to enhance its reputation. While no doubt, some of these alumni are notable, many of the edits have been questionable. At bare minimum, film-based notability would require an imdb credit for a feature-length film or equivalent. If on imdb, the individual should have received significant critical attention for their role in the production. Others should have a major role in creating or co-creating a distinguished production, or being widely recognized for creating a new concept or technique. Please note that hypothetically, if alumni were to gain employment at a notable organization such as Disney, this does not qualify that individual as notable. Their work at said organization must be critically recognized (not just the production itself, but *their* specific contribution must be critically recognized) in order to qualify. In short, if a feature film wins an Academy Award for best editing, that does not qualify actors, make-up artists, animators, or the like for notability. Before re-adding, or adding any new "notable" alumni, please carefully review the Wikipedia policy on notability guidelines - specifically the section on Creative Professionals. Peekachu: I have reinstated the full list of notable graduates. In their field, these are notable people. And as graduates, they are notable alumni for this school. Although not all these graduates are well-known, they do still qualify as notable in the context of this wiki entry. It does not seem necessary to remove them. user: donkeye —Preceding comment was added at 19:02, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
I have just updated the list after doing some research - I feel this is now a list of true notable grads. Any feedback? -- 208.181.60.33 ( talk) 23:28, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
I hope to figure out how to add pictures and more information soon. This is a work in progress for me. I'll try to have the whole page complete within a couple weeks. Q: how do I add to the table of contents?
Thanks again for your swift and accurate help. Donkeye 23:49, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
I have flagged this article as being biased. The entire article reads like something pulled directly off of VFS's webpage, fails to cite most everything, and is worded like an advertisement. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.83.213.119 ( talk) 19:26, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
There appears to be a large number of citations now. Do you feel the article is still biased? --

The article has plenty of citations and the language has been changed. Can we remove this neutrality flag now? Thanks -- Cazmaraline ( talk) 23:49, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
