Per the naming convention, the name should be Van Nuys station (Metrolink) - as Metrolink is the system disambiguator and has the most service in the station. It's the least confusing. To call it merely a "train" station does not help the reader figure out what's going on.

@
Anthony Appleyard: Indeed there is. However, there is no suitable disambiguator that both distinguishes this from the bus station (geographic ones don't work because they're nearby) and is simple (this station is served by multiple operators). Thus, the logical solution is for the bus station to stay at
Van Nuys station (Los Angeles Metro), and this article to Van Nuys station.

No, the current name is not in compliance with
WP:USSTATION, an established and widely-used guideline. "train station" as part of article names has been depreciated except for cases where it is part of a proper name.

It actually doesn't, as I've shown above. The guideline clearly states that if a name is shared by two different systems, they should both be disambiguated by the system name. Since both of these names are disambiguation (i.e. "station" is not part of the name), WP:PRIMARYTOPIC has nothing to do with this and this is an issue of
WP:INCDAB. --

Please update the photograph in the infobox
Historical photos are fine for the body of the article, preferably in the section dealing with history, but the photograph in the infobox should show the present configuration of the station, i.e., with the center platform.
