This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... it is an article on a book series and seems to be accurate. --

Contested deletion 2
I'm removing the prod for two reasons. The first is that the series has been adapted into a manga format, which shows some notability, although I admit that I'm not sure if that's enough alone to save the article. Secondly (and most importantly) the series as a whole has been reviewed by multiple different places and I've sourced some of those into the article and I'm not even remotely finished with the stuff I'm finding. This is clearly a notable series, regardless of my personal opinion on it.

I'll give you a few days or a week to finish sourcing before I AfD it, to see if it can be saved (my finger was on the Twinkle trigger!): if you've not noticed, I have a rather strict, or what is called on Meta "
meta:Inclusionist/
meta:Exclusionist" view of Wikipedia's policies, notability, etc. (Yes, one can be an Inclusionist and an Exclusionist at the same time.)

LOL, fair enough. Could you give me closer to a week? It's finals season and studying for my Spanish final is kicking my rump so I'm going to be slightly slow on adding the sources. If the professor didn't know my face so well, I'd almost hire someone fluent to pose as me so I could get a good grade. BTW, I'm kind of thinking that it would be a good idea for the singular Vampire Kisses book (the first one) to just be redirected into this article. As individual titles they don't have much notability but I think that as a whole they should. Most individual novels in a series don't really have notability, at least in my opinion.
