Does anyone have an idea why the character pages were removed? No reason is given and when I follow the trail to the person who removed it it takes me to the CSD which I can't see the page breaking any of those things. It doesn't matter to me because I can find a clone of it on another wiki site but I'm just wondering what rule it could have broken. It can't be for being a character page as there are many others like it around like the Characters_of_Final_Fantasy_VII which has been around for ages. Lenneth ( talk) 12:48, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
I guess the question that I'm getting at is, does anyone remember what the 'uninvolved editor' tagged the page for before it was deleted?

How about a fucking spoiler warning on this page-- Akaces23 01:38, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
Yep, this is not a thread in a gamefaqs forum, it's supposed to provide a comprehensive knowledge of the game. So yeah it's REDUNDANT to say that it has spoilers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Twinscythe ( talk • contribs) 16:56, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
So I went to EB to get a preorder on July 12th, and the clerk (and the computer system) said it was coming out in... September...
Now, I haven't seen anywhere online that jives with this, and Future Shop has the July 18th date as well. Is EB being stupid, or has there really been a delay that someone can confirm?
It seems rather silly for Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth to have it's own page when it's essentially a straight port with minor differences from the original... Though perhaps the Valkyrie Profile page should be merged TO this page to keep in line with SquareEnix's rebranding? They might just make a third game and that would leave the base page open for general series information. Lankybugger 18:34, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
I have not played the PSP version of the game yet, but I was wondering if it included the original's anime intro movie and ending or if those were replaced with CG movies, as well. If anyone knows the answer, could you please add it to the article?-- Hailinel 23:55, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
The PSP version does indeed use CGI movies right the way through, although I think a few cutscenes (e.g. Lezard's tower) are anime. I can't compare them with the PSX version but the quality is quite good, particularly Jelanda's. Wiki-Ed 12:23, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

I was wondering why there's a plot section in the Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria section and not here.
VP1 events were much more convoluted than VP2 and it makes even less sense that they completely explained VP2 but not VP1 in here.
And I would contribute but I know nothing of VP1. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Twinscythe ( talk • contribs) 16:59, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
The result of the proposal was move. JPG-GR ( talk) 20:43, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth → Valkyrie Profile — Valkyrie Profile is the original name for this game. Lenneth is the subtitle for only the PSP port. Also WP:VG/NAME tells to "always use the original official title of the game". — Mika1h ( talk) 19:44, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Wikipedia's naming conventions.Question; what, then, to do with the disambig page that is currently at Valkyrie Profile? Move it to Valkyrie Profile (disambiguation)? Is that acceptable to everyone? There does appear to be consensus to move this page, so once this relatively minor issue is worked out, I can go ahead and move the page. Parsecboy ( talk) 22:00, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
Hello, the link for "Square Enix's official European website for Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth (English)(French)(Italian)(German)(Spanish)" is not correct. It leads to a side, where you can buy eu-domains. Has anybody made a mistake or does this page exist no longer? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.56.41.101 ( talk) 09:18, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
Hello everyone, I've noticed that this article mentions that the game got a "great soundtrack", so I wonder what's it sound like (and, BTW, whether they composed an original soundtrack or used the one that was already available:-). Thanks in advance, and clear skies to you! 76.21.37.87 ( talk) 01:10, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
Just one minor hint for the combat section, last paragraph: DME (Diving Materialization Energy) is used solely for your Einherjar, since they are already dead and HP (as in Health Points) wouldn't make any sense, here. You know, divine materialization and stuff. Enemies, on the other hand, do have HP, since they are still alive (kinda, except for zombies) and don't have to be materialized divinely. You might notice different death animations, too. 178.25.111.38 ( talk) 01:24, 24 November 2011 (UTC)

To quote a section of the article as it currently is, "a 2006 PlayStation 2 prequel, titled Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria" If memory serves me correctly, VP2:S is an AU Prequel, so should it be, "a 2006 PlayStation 2 spinoff prequel, titled Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria" instead, or would that be too revealing? Considering their is an article for VP2:S that outright states it, I believe it would be okay to add the alteration (although maybe with a different word to prequel), but I wanted to confirm it first. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:6250:89A0:0:0:0:26 ( talk) 04:22, 21 October 2019 (UTC)
There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Valkyrie Profile (series) which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. — RMCD bot 23:03, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
