The article says that (at least in 1992) "the Air Force was the only branch of the military without a memorial." Is this accurate? I have been trying to find an equivalent national memorial to the U.S. Army. I know about the Marine Corps Memorial and the Navy Memorial (the latter of which honors the Marines as well, of course).
I considered posting this to the Reference Desk but I was mostly interested in the answer for purposes of correcting this article if necessary.

Here's your answer: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/11/11/AR2006111100749.html There is also another memorial for a specific army armored division (5th?) at the main entrance to Arlington Cemetery.
