Article - Talk

Gonna review this. It may be worth noting that I added some content to the article a few months ago, but all of it has been re-written by an unrelated editor, so it'll be fine. versacespace leave a message! 17:03, 29 April 2021 (UTC) reply

Infobox and lead

  • "but did not win in any category" can be omitted because this is implied already by the fact that they "were nominated".
  • Also that inline citation in the second para is making me gag
  • Infobox is good

Background and recording

  • specify what grammy awards the kids were alright were nominated for
 Fixed -- dylx ( t | c) 04:13, 3 May 2021 (UTC) reply

Composition

  • "record with elements" -> "record which contains elements"
  • The inline citations here should go behind each genre (behind the comma as well)
  • Why is this section so short? Can we at least have a paragraph?

Concept and themes

  • at the end of the section, why are single quotations used for the song lyrics when they aren't inside any normal quotations?
 Fixed -- dylx ( t | c) 04:13, 3 May 2021 (UTC) reply

Release and promotion

  • The vinyl release still has a citation needed tag

Live performances

  • " Do It" is wikilinked too many times here.
  • " Forgive Me" is linked too much as well.

Awards and nominations

Commercial performance

  • This section doesn't present a worldwide view of the topic. The album charted in other countries. How did it do there?

Track listing

  • For track 8, "with Swae Lee and Mike Will Made It" doesn't need to be in small font.

Notes

  • Good

Credits and personnel

  • Throughout the section, the track markers in small font marked "1, 2" should be "1-2". Same with other chronological numbers.

General comments

  • That summarizes my concerns so this is  On hold.
  • Oh, one more thing, wiki-linked songs should only be wikilinked on the first mention, in the tracklist, and in the infobox

Comments by other users (including the nominator)

@ VersaceSpace: about the citation needed tag about the vinyl release, I don't see it on my end. can you specify where it appears so I can remove it? thank you! -- dylx ( t | c) 12:25, 6 May 2021 (UTC) reply

@ Dylx: looks like its been fixed already versacespace leave a message! 12:27, 6 May 2021 (UTC) reply

@ VersaceSpace: another thing: I can't un-wikilink Twitter in ref 29, since it uses the {cite tweet} template. do you want me to replace the reference? -- dylx ( t | c) 12:45, 6 May 2021 (UTC) reply

I also can't un-wikilink Official Charts in refs 113 and 114, since they were created using the {album chart} template. -- dylx ( t | c) 13:06, 6 May 2021 (UTC) reply
@ Dylx: eh...in that case, I guess both could be left as is versacespace leave a message! 13:08, 6 May 2021 (UTC) reply
