Currently HLE and High-Level-Emulation direct here. While certainly UltraHLE has been a pioneer in this technique, high level emulation is an approach to emulation, not an emulator. In fact, most emulators, especially for modern consoles, implement HLE in some way. I therefore suggest the creation of a new page. MatMasIt ( talk) 11:17, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
- This would not be a split, per se, but a totally separate article. If sufficient sources can be found to make the high-level emulation article you can create it, but since it would likely require a rewrite I will be removing the request. ZXCVBNM ( TALK) 21:13, 6 December 2021 (UTC)
- +1 This is definitely confusing; it would be better to remove the redirect until a separate article is created, in my opinion. Matt Montag ( talk) 20:12, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
