Last paragraphs of the 1960's section has problems. First off not wrapping, Secondly once read, user should expect a picture or video to be present. Appears with a different font. There is a greyish box around this also. I have done several edits - ended leaving this information deleted. I am viewing page with the latest version of Opera (not Firefox or Microsoft Internet Explorer).

WASHINGTON, June 22— The United States Navy destroyer Turner Joy, which figured in an incident critical to American involvement in the Vietnam War 18 years ago, was fired on again Sunday night by Vietnamese ships, the Defense Department disclosed tonight.
The Turner Joy and three other American warships were passing through the South China Sea from Thailand toward the Philippines when the Turner Joy was fired on by a machine gun mounted on a large Vietnamese fishing vessel, officials said. A second Vietnamese vessel also reportedly fired on the Turner Joy.
One shot pierced the ship, officials said, but no one was hurt and no damage was done. When another American destroyer, the Lynde McCormick, fired shots from a 50-caliber machine gun over the top of the Vietnamese vessel, the Vietnamese stopped shooting, the officials said.
