It appears that the MQ-9 Reaper has won this contract, at least in the near-term. This would require large restructuring of this article...though perhaps the article was intended to cover a tender beyond the current MQ-9 buy.

Regardless of how it's done, this article is badly out of date; at the very least, the outcome of the USAF's plans to "field the Hunter-Killer by 2007 and may order up to 60 machines." —Preceding
