Founded in 1954, but lists Sauder as a notable alumni receiving his B.Com in 1948. Anyone care to explain that?

Also, history section doesn't mention anything of note in 1954. I'm going to change founded date to be aligned with history section.

I will check the history board and find the actual date of the faculty's establishment. The confusing part is that there are 3 real "establishment" dates, there is the date the Sauder School was named, the Year the Faculty was Created and the year the first degree was offered (through Arts).

I changed the year founded to 1956, this reflects the promotion of "50 years of Commerce at UBC" by SSB and the UBC History Page that I have added as a relevant link.
What does this mean:
November 24, 2006 - The construction of a CDN $65 million building extension and renovation to the Sauder School of Business gains approval from PhD, Masters, and Undergraduate students.
