I have also seen a turnaround ramp on a controlled-access highway. Traffic not wishing to cross the border from Louisiana to Texas on Interstate 10 can use the Sabine Lake Turnaround. Traffic exits at I-10 west exit 1 on the right, but the ramp crosses under the bridge about to go over the lake and merges with I-10 east across.
