User:Harry_W_Braun_III, you have been added to this page, because you are a board-member of the same organization as professor Veziroğlu, and he endorsed your presidential campaign. Just as you ought to only make suggestions at
Talk:Harry_Braun, rather than directly editing
Harry_Braun yourself, the same applies to articles about friends/associates/colleagues. Make sense? You are free to edit this talkpage, if you have any suggestions or corrections or additions or removals, that will improve the article. Similarly, if professor Veziroğlu would like to become a wikipedian, he is free to make suggestions here on this page (and also at
Talk:Harry Braun, but should avoid directly editing the actual articles, himself. Hope this initial effort is headed in the right direction -- I attempted to focus on the highlights only, and put a 'further reading' section at the bottom, for interested readership to learn more.

Wow, my sincere apologies. I was concentrating so hard on getting the lastname correct, I completely flubbed that. Fixed now, at least, thanks DGG.

I am continuing to work on it.
75.108.94.227,I made the following corrections for style & format. I removed links after the first one to the same WP article. I italicized journal names and book titles. I included only the most cited papers (usually the most cited 3 or 4, but since he has a very large number, I listed all those with over 100 citations). I removed, as usual, the name of publisher of a journal in a reference. I replaced repeated use of the subject's name with "he" . I merged honors and memberships--there's no point listing mere membership, when he has so many distinctions.
I still need to organize this further. I would, btw, be very glad to know confidentially whom you are, if you can think of some way to email me. (actually, you might try dgoodman at my principal university affiliation, Princeton. it's a published email) DGG (

Just saw this one, sorry -- if you want to ping anons, you have to use {{talkback}} or just leave a note manually on usertalk. In any case, you later left me a note on usertalk anyways. :-)
WP:NORUSH applies to more than just article-space, sometimes.

According to machine-transmessuplation, there was 2004 conference held at
Kadir Has University, and the president of TASAM (who was
tr:Süleyman_Şensoy at the time... BLP-article is a redlink on enWiki but the person does have a DAB-page-entry at
Şensoy) gave Veziroğlu a plaque. I'm not sure if that happened at the 2004 conference, or in 2011 at the publication-date of the piece.

Turkish-speaker here. According to the article he got the plaque in 2004 at the conference. Let me know if you need anything else translated. I'll have a closer look at the article later and let you know if it contains info useful for his biography.

Thanks
User:Crusoe704. There are two other known sources in Turkish --
ref#5 aka
[2] , and
ref#12 aka
[3]. I believe both are integrated into the article already, but if you'd like to take a peek and make sure that 1) the material in mainspace is properly backed up by the sources in question, and 2) whether there are any other factoids found in the sources but not yet mentioned by mainspace, that would be appreciated. Appreciate the help. And the promptness! Wikipedia is pretty cool thataway. :-)

If somebody can verify I haven't messed up the title and publisher, that would be appreciated -- the TASAM acronym is from the Turkish form of the think-tank's name.
