"Apart from the original text, for which Rambhadracharya has relied extensively on older manuscripts," this is stated as Rambhadracharya's claim not fact
Zee News says that
the edition changed dohas to chaupais and vice versa
changed wording of several verses
Renamed the sixth canto Lankakanda
The "Difference" section is highly based on Rambhadracharya's claims. Third-party neutral references are needed to validate them.
The changes do not make it neutral. Problems still exist:
"According to him, there are the following differences in spelling, grammar, and prosodic conventions between this edition and contemporary editions of the Ramcharitmanas." Opinion does not matter here; fact does. If I pick the Gita Press edition/Venkateshwar Press edition, are there differences or not?
She claimed to have founded missing verses in the Ayodhyakand, quoting one,"Deepshikh sam yuvati tan .."
founded -> found
Again if I pick the Gita Press edition/Venkateshwar Press edition, are there verses missing? Fact. "There are missing verses in the Ayodhyakand, quoting one,"Deepshikh sam yuvati tan .."" can be a fact.
"
Prem Bhushan, a Kathavachak and discipline of Rambhadracharya, claimed that the differences are only related to grammar and spellings"
Ref says "Swami's disciples like noted Kathavachak Prem Bhushanji claims the alterations mainly relate to punctuation marks, matras and spellings." mainly applies other differences exist
Also need to the threat by Sants to dethrone him from pontiff-ship. IMO, Zee News has it. Don't remember exactly.. please check
