On what is this article basing its claim that this movie is two tales, and not one tale? Does anyone know? Luminifer ( talk) 05:16, 11 May 2009 (UTC) reply

I removed the reference to "homosexual men" because there is nothing in the film which warrants this. All we see is a close, somewhat "romantic" friendship such as is quite common in non-Western cultures and in certain pre-modern Western ones. There's nothing at all in the film to indicate that either of the two characters identifies as gay, or will not eventually marry a woman. This is particularly so with regard to the character of Tong, who is less forthcoming in his affection. Impossible finding a user name ( talk) 05:21, 12 January 2014 (UTC) reply
