Fringe benefit

The dop system is described in the opening paragraph as a fringe benefit. Further down in the article there are cited examples establishing that this was remuneration for work and not a fringe benefit.

I think that the first paragraph needs a rewrite but I'd like some differing opinions before I undertake it Gogogoat ( talk) 08:29, 27 October 2017 (UTC) reply
