I find this an interesting fact: In the 1990s, the Tokyo Yakult Swallows had spring training in Yuma, Arizona, USA, where they used to have the San Diego Padres train there and a Colombian Baseball team also trained in San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, Mexico. There's a minor baseball league in Yuma with 6 teams named for countries: USA, Canada, Colombia, Japan, Mexico and Philippines. The Tokyo Yakult Swallows contributed to the local baseball industry as much the San Diego Padres did. 12.218.47.123 ( talk) 20:59, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
