Nobody's mentioned it yet here, so I thought I'd bring up the proverbial "800 pound gorilla in the room" of the 1996 North Atlantic Hurricane Season: Hurricane Huron.
Should it even be mentioned in the timeline?
To be honest, Hurricane Huron has pretty much become part of the culture of my home State of Michigan, and around here, you can't talk about the events of 1996 without someone mentioning Hurricane Huron.
It's that culturally significant around here.
