Following the statement in "Independent" link, both Albrecht Brothers served at the outbreak of WW II in the Wehrmacht (and the war "broke out" (!) in 1939). That means, both brothers volunteered, if that was the case. Because birth year 1920 and 1922, respectively, were not yet regularly drafted at the beginning of the war. So it is quite misleading to use the term "drafted" here. --
