I see we have no plot. Although it is based on the true story of Hugh Glass, I think it is worth noting differences and interesting details in the book (and perhaps also the movie).
I doubt I will have time to write out the entire plot, but I will start adding notes here (near the end):
Glass is discovered by a scouting party. The Lieutenant who led the party brings Glass back to
Fort Atkinson and presents him to the Major in charge of the fort, Major Constable...Fitzgerald tells another of his tall tales...Glass fires at Fitzgerald and hits him in the shoulder. Court deputies grab Glass and hit him over the head. He finds himself in a dank military prison and is sprung two weeks later by
Kiowa Brazeau who says he is friends with the Major.
It looks like
