Pinging @
King1559, who's the other major contributor to the plot summary. Sorry for the notif!
I would like to remind that per
our Manual of Style guidelines on plot summaries, we gotta keep the synopsis around 700 words or fewer to retain focus. The word count of the summary (as of this revision) has reached 809 words (not the worst, but still it should definitely be cut down), while the last time I was here, it was already at a pretty nice word count of 752. For comparison's sake, our best articles on video games (as determined by the
Featured Article criteria) have the following word counts for their respective plot sections.
In line with this, I believe we should start a discussion here about what details in the summary should we (1) include, (2) simplify for brevity, or (3) remove entirely. Honestly, I am in favor of removing the actor names from the plot summary, or at least moving them somewhere in another section. Thanks!

Adding to this: I was thinking we could add a "characters" subsection under "Story" and list the names of the main and supporting characters, as well as their respective actors, there instead. This would immediately remove 30 words from the plot summary (15 actors listed there), and since we already give the full names down under the Characters section, we only have to address the characters (or at the very least, the main ones) by their first names or nicknames in the Plot section. That will remove around ... 10 more words, give or take? Leaving us with 769 words in the plot summary. Would you agree to this? Is there anything else we may do to cut down on the synopsis? Thank you ^^
