Merge?
Now that this software has been superseded, should this article just become a redirect to
The Lens with the content here becoming a paragraph in that article?

Explanation of issue: As suggested by
Dbfirs, this page should be moved to
The Lens with a redirect from
Patent Lens. The Lens was renamed from Patent Lens in 2012, and has been The Lens ever since, see links below. In addition, The Lens has become more than a patent and biological sequence search database, and has been providing scholarly works (i.e.
scholarly papers) since 2014, with a significant corpus of scholarly works added in late 2017 making it a
Bibliographic database.
Information to be added or removed: Move/Rename the page to
The Lens (with a redirect from the
Patent Lens). Add "(formerly known as the Patent Lens)" to the first line. Add bibliographic database to the description/type of site.

CAMBIA isn't an article I had seen yet, so thanks for bringing that up. Seeing that, I would actually suggest merging a condensed portion of this article to
CAMBIA#Projects and deleting this page. Patent Lens/The Lens really don't have much secondary coverage to really warrant
WP:GNG, so that article would give a home to some brief mention and take care of the problems we ran into at the last AfD.

Oppose per
last move discussion just above this and
the last AfD. Consensus has been to keep the subject here, and nothing seems to have changed since then that would trigger a move.

Support or move to Lens.org: The logo uses "Lens.org". Other places on the website and LinkedIn page use "The Lens". I don't see any trace of "Patent Lens" on the website or LinkedIn page, and after some searching my impression is that the vast majority of post-2012 sources use the new name(s).
WP:NAMECHANGES implies that we should give priority to sources published after a name change. Years and years have gone by since the rebranding, and I get the impression that the old name is fading away.
Here,
