How can you highlight one incident as to represent The Boulevard at the Capital Centre? There are plenty of murders in all of areas of Washington, DC (not to mention all large, medium, and small cities), yet those shoppers and restaurant goers are not "scared off." The immediate area around "The Blvd" has the largest per capita income among African Americans in the United States, as well as the most educated. —Preceding

This makes no sense! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.92.166.172 ( talk • contribs)
Should we include a list of the acceptable/appropriate behavior of vistors and patrons of the Cap Centre, since the management and police are very strict in enforcing it for public safety reasons? If anyone agrees, just say so and I'll write it down next time I'm there. Paleridernightwolf 16:13, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
I don't know if there is anything to mine from this artice:
[1]. As noted above, it doesn't make any sense to try to describe every crime which happens at a location. Nor is this is a statistical treatment or anything which really lets us compare this mall to any other. On the other hand, there is probably something to say along the lines of "to improve security at the mall, X has been suggested, but residents urge the owners to do more" although I'm not sure I dare suggest exactly how one might word such a thing. The spin of this article is different from the one which was deleted as a source (
"Largo Mall Slaying Adds to Residents' Fears".

help)) but despite the can of worms in terms of how to treat such a subject, it isn't clear to me that saying nothing is really the right solution. Perhaps the real problem is that we need to have other content, so that any mention of security doesn't seem to be unduly emphasized. For example:
[2] (although I'm not sure where it was originally published) talks about The Boulevard at the Capital Centre in the context of PG County economic development.
