Yeah, it dated from a time where people who listened to MUSIC were concerned about how the MUSIC sounded, not whether the performers had sufficient nose surgery to fit an imaginary standard of "beauty."--

I think one could argue that no single band in the entire history of popular music has had such an influence as the Boswells They revolutionised what girl groups could do and there is no girl group since that doesn't have an echo of the Boswells. But as for that cover, 1949 is nonsense. That image is from about 1929. — Preceding
