Somali pirates are demanding ransoms which is creating economic hardship on the Somali people. The U.S Treasury Department has set up programs to block financial transfers and ransoms. This is one way to stop Somali pirates from getting ransom money. Another way to stop terrorism is with significant naval power. Somalia's economy has collapsed because of the frequent acts of terrorism going on. This article is much better than the Terrorism in Somalia article found on Wikipedia's cite because it talks much more in depth about the exact types of terrorism found in Somalia. The Wikipedia article about terrorism only defines terrorism and a list of attacks.

This article discusses hijacking and other forms of terrorism going on in Somalia. Pirates are using ransom money to fund terrorist groups and acts of terrorism such as hijacking. Piracy thrives in Somalia because it is the perfect atmosphere for terrorism due to its economic crisis. Terrorism is going to continue to be a problem in Somalia if the Somali government does not crack down on the issue and follow international laws and jurisdiction and prosecute pirates. This article is relevant to the topic of terrorism in Somalia because it discusses the issue of hijacking and how the Somali government can crack down on this issue.

This article is an overview of the types of terrorism happening in Somalia and how the United States suggest that the world handle these issues. Obama has sent the Navy to rescue hostages from pirates on the coast of Somalia. Many nations have funded programs to crack down on piracy policies so that pirates and terrorists can be arrested and put in jail. This article is relevant to the topic because it is a good overview of the United State's stance on the issue of terrorism happening in Somalia at the current time.

Kindly stop spamming this WP:OFFTOPIC material across different pages. This page is on terrorism in Somalia, which is already dealt with on the Al-Shabaab page, so it should be re-directed there.
