A news item involving Tatjana Patitz was featured on Wikipedia's
Main Page in the In the news section on 12 January 2023.
Hi Hipal, thank you for the welcome. I am implementing the adjustments you noted that are needed to balance and improve the Tatjana Patitz page, to have a biography of a living person that is deemed worthy of being on Wikipedia. Research has been focused on sourcing facts from journals, books or web articles from 1985 to the present in fashion, photography and entertainment publications - such as Vogue, Bazaar, Elle, and notable newspapers - that are reliable in their industry. Thanks again for directing me to the many helpful editing pages. — Preceding

I've moved the discussion here so others can easily participate.
I've added this article to my watchlist, but don't know when I'll have much time to start reviewing it in depth.
In general, the fashion, photograph, and entertainment publications are poor sources for encyclopedia articles. They tend to lack depth of coverage, historical perspective, broad context, and analysis. While they can be used, we need better references to avoid
WP:POV and
WP:NOT problems. --

Hipal: Hello again Hipal, thank you for adding this article to your watch list. Will you have time to note the progress? Made the article neutral, deleted poorly cited references as well as fixed citations that were problematic. Some bad links got in there. Is this on track to being unflagged? Welcome any suggestions. Thank you, BuddaBassist
