This reads like a personal page written in the 3rd person or a magazine article rather than an encyclopedia article. There's a lot of
peacock wording and much of the content (like the bit about his teachers noticing his writing skills in school and his passion for journalism) is inappropriate and merely obscures the information which may actually be notable (which seems to be his journalism career). The article lacks references, the footnotes adding further details in the references section are not what we consider
suitable verification. And there don't seem to be any third party reliable sources that indicate Saleh is
notable. I see that the piece has been almost entirely edited by one user so I wanted to point these issues out before taking any
bold action myself. --

Son of Palestinian immigrants or exiles?
Which is it? There is a difference and this is highly relevant to his background and perspective. The question is why he works for the BBC. Info about his parents' status would be useful.--
