I believe the meaning of the work "Tapejara" to be rather something like "Lord of the roads", instead of the published "The Old Being". -- Bilthon ( talk) 05:10, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
This page should be dab page, as translate from Portuguese Wikipedia. Matthew_hk t c 13:11, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
This image [1] was clearly labelled Tapejara wellnhoferi, until someone replaced the name [2] with Tupandactylus navigans. Is there any clear reason why t5his would not be Tapejara wellnhoferi? FunkMonk ( talk) 11:17, 27 December 2016 (UTC)

I could add it, but will let the more involved pterophiles do the deed. Very sad, irreplaceable loss. 50.111.25.206 ( talk) 16:22, 19 September 2018 (UTC)

Tapejara (pterosaur) → Tapejara wellnhoferi – Tapejara is a monotypic genus (i.e. it only has one species), per WP:MONOTYPICTAXA. JurassicClassic767 ( talk | contribs) 21:40, 22 January 2021 (UTC)
It's not at all clear that the <j> in <Tapejara> should be /dʒ/. The Wikipedia page on Tupí doesn't list anything I could envision a <j> writing; the closest would be /j/ (explicitly not the English <j> sound!) or /ʃ/ (which would probably be written <x>, and I imagine is in <Tupuxuara>). It certainly doesn't have /dʒ/! 130.164.62.76 ( talk) 13:55, 28 July 2022 (UTC)
