This page was just nominated for deletion due to the lack of content. I understand and agree with this logic, but would first request a chance for some of the key stakeholders to help improve this page. The SE4ALL initiative continues to operate and in fact is now an organization, hence it seems fit that this page should continue to exist - if it can be improved. I propose that a couple of months are allowed to see if improvements can be made. Thanks. O-Jay ( talk) 23:01, 27 February 2020 (UTC)

Information to be added or removed:
Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) is an international organization launched by the then Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon to help achieve Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG7), which calls for universal access to sustainable energy by 2030, and the Paris Agreement, which calls for reducing greenhouse gas emissions to limit climate warming to below 2° Celsius.
It was formally launched as an initiative in September 2011 and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria, with an executive office in Washington, DC. In January 2016, when Rachel Kyte took the office as SEforALL’s CEO and Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General, SEforALL became an independent organization, maintaining close links with the UN, including through a relationship agreement, partnerships with UN agencies and with SEforALL's CEO acting as the UN Secretary-General's Special Representative for Sustainable Energy for All and Co-Chair of UN-Energy.
On October 29, 2019, it was announced that Damilola Ogunbiyi will succeed Rachel Kyte as new CEO and Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General.[1] She started her term as of January 2020.
Explanation of issue: Damilola Ogunbiyi started her term; SEforALL website/about section changed; Goal 7/SDG7 is the core of our org; hence the revision.

In the example above there are three references provided for the stated claims. But the text does not indicate, through the use of ref tags, which reference applies to which claim. Your edit request similarly does not provide ref tags indicating which source goes where. The links between material and their source references must be clearly made, as shown in the next example below:
In the example above the links between the provided references and their claim statements are perfectly clear. |
