The challenge with links to this article is that all of these references are behind a paywall. I have scans of the text, which if posted would not violate any copyright rules, but I don't believe I have seen that on Wikipedia, open to advice.

Connections
". . . has been referenced from its time of first presentation, through to contemporary books and dissertations today" so where are a few these references? They might be a big help in finding connections between the subject and something, anything, in history.
