Article has improved somewhat, but still has some issues:
Possibly
unreliable sources: Surfing Vancouver Island, Surfing-Canada.com, Red Bull.ca, WannaSurf.com. Arguably some of these could be external links, but are probably not reliable as sources.
"Also, surfing alone is frowned upon for both safety reasons and skill-building reasons. Finding a person to surf with is difficult; he/she must match the learner's own skill level"
"Unlike surfing, sunbathing has never embraced the minds of foreigners who wished to vacation within Canada's wild and majestic beaches"
"Surfers in Canada generally drive Fiat vehicles and Nissan vehicles to their surfing destionations; as opposed to the SUVs used by American surfers in California and Hawaii"
"People who surf in Canada's chilly waves are respected around the world for being "hardcore surfers." The "final frontier" in the surfing world has become Canada in the 21st century."
"Even with the warmer temperatures, a wetsuit is still recommended during most months of the year"
"Ideal places for surfing in Canada include: Tofino (British Columbia), Lawrencetown Beach (near East Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia), Ingonish Beach (Nova Scotia), Kincardine (Ontario), the Habitat 67 standing wave in Montreal (Quebec), and Lake Superior. "
"The expression "locals only" may be used towards who live outside the area. Surfers who use courtesy find themselves liked in the surfing scene while people with attitude issues will find themselves unwelcome or even threatened with violence."
"Surfers who live near the Great Lakes can find two surfing opportunities near Toronto, a surfer-friendly beach just south of St. Catharines and some surf-quality waves near Hamilton"
This is by far the worst article i've ever seen on Wikipedia. It is completely littered with nonsense and laughable B.S. Two of my favorites being "Surfers in Canada generally drive Fiat vehicles and Nissan vehicles" and "Surfers in Canada are advised against urinating in their wetsuit". Complete garbage. This article needs to be completely rewritten.
