Has anyone seen the movie yet? Supermike 8:13 19 Septembers 2007 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.111.95.147 ( talk) 12:13, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
I removed the trivia section, since it only mentioned that Kevin Smith has a cameo, and that info appears earlier in the article anyway. Umbralcorax 15:55, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
I removed the following:
The absence of Superboy might be due to the lawsuit between the The Siegels and Time Warner, Although Director Bruce Timm did not mention this.
It seemed like OR to me, imho we'd need something to corroborate this. Umbralcorax 07:09, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
The article says that Superman Returns was released the summer previous to Superman: Doomsday. This would mean that Superman Returns was released in summer 2007. It was released in 2006. Needs to be changed. -- Bentonia School 16:50, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
This section has horrible grammar and is rather pointless. filmratings.com lists this film as "rated PG-13 for action violence". Isn't that all we need to know? Rpachico 04:06, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
Please stop adding info that compares "dark superman" to elements of superboy/eradicator/cyborg in the Reign of the Supermen storyline. Unless someone can provide a source stating that was the intent of the writers, it's original research. Thanks. CPitt76 00:44, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
This Wikipedia article mentions Wonder Woman. During the Death of Superman storyline, Wonder Woman was marooned in space. She never had a chance to fight Doomsday during this story arc. She managed to fight the resurrected Doomsday years after the storyline had concluded and Superman had returned to full power. Doomsday did tear through the Justice League, but Wonder Woman was not part of it. Thanks. - Trevz —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.1.97.113 ( talk) 18:36, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
It also says that Batman and the Justice League were omitted from the movie. Batman wasn't in the death of superman comic. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.139.1.68 ( talk) 16:51, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
Image:Titanic Battle.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Having Justice Leauge in the followed by is wrong. There is no connection to any of the films outside of the being DC. By this logic Constantine is connected to V for Vendetta or Batman Begins. 76.241.88.186 ( talk) 05:55, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
I removed this sentence from the'Ratings' section ("Sexual innuendo is present (Lois kissing Luthor; Clark emerging from a bathroom wearing only a towel) but mild; this may have also contributed to the rating. citation needed") because not only is what it's describing not sexual innuendo, but scenes like this have appeared in plenty of films which recieved less than a PG-13 rating. Now, if there was a super-sized banana or someting conveniently placed in the bathroom for when he got out of the shower, that would be a different story... ;-) 86.147.99.81 ( talk) 19:47, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
Calling the clone evil is a bit harsh. OK, he took the law in his own hands and killed some bad guys, but except for Superman, he didn't try to harm anyone good. I'd say he's more misguided than evil. 65.43.96.3 ( talk) 20:18, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Hi there, the plot section is far too long at 1141 words. The ideal length is 400–700 words per WP:FILMPLOT. I've never seen this movie, which makes it risky for me to start cutting. If any of you who are more familiar with the storyline can cut the cruft, that'd be great. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb ( talk) 15:23, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
