Mention of Lenovo laptop controversy in lede
I added a mention of this issue to the lede for this article. Most people will have come to this article for this reason, and it is therefore important to have that early in the article. User:Sceptre reverted that part of my edit (also adding a fuller text in the History section) describing my text as "weasel words". I am going to mostly-undo that deletion. I will leave out "It is mostly known" which seems to be the problematic text.

Removal of "Rootkit" in reference section
However much I disagree with the methods employed by SuperFish - and I really do disagree with them - it is factually incorrect to describe them as rootkits. A root certificate authority and SSL MITM do not mean a rootkit was installed and I can find no evidence to back up such a descrption. As a result I've
removed this entry in the reference section.

Not likely to happen. It's not good to semi protect because there might be vandalism. Not until there is, and I don't see any in the history.

I don't know if anyone cares, but I just spotted superfish.com in godaddy's domain auctions. It's a high four figures, but I'd grab it if I had the cash :/
