There are studies linked in this article that indicate doctors have the highest suicide rate. Yet CDC statistics [1] looking across all professionals as well as the Office of National Statistics [2] (which focuses on the UK) show that they commit suicide below average and are certainly not at the top of the list. These statistics would not justify the existence of this article.
Perhaps this information should be included in the page, or the page should be deleted. Simoncrowder ( talk) 14:10, 6 January 2019 (UTC)

I really don't see the encyclopedic value in the section and I suggest that it be removed. I believe it violates WP:NOTNEWS: the reports are (sadly) routine coverage, and not important enough to mention. Also per WP:NOTNEWS "coverage of that individual should be limited to the article about that event, in proportion to their importance to the overall topic" and the people mentioned are of little overall importance to the topic, since the persons mentioned are only a tiny fraction of doctors committing suicide.
