Even though the music sheet says that her vocal range spans up to D5, she actually hits a couple of G5s at 3:02 and 3:12 (the peak notes when she sings the last "Yes"). So I edited the vocal range but I didn't know how to reference the song itself. I mean, do we need a source when the notes are clearly hit at those points in the song? — Preceding

Well, there seemed to be enough information about this single for an article independent of the main album page, so I re-created it from the redirect. If anyone knows of any other sources that could be used to expand it further, please add them.

Not that I know of. I think it was released on a strictly promotional basis, with, of course, the song available to download from places such as iTunes as an album track.

The song "Suga Mama" was NOT a released officially as a single from B'Day.
Like songs "Upgrade U" and "Freakum Dress", it recieved attention independent of the album, but it should not under any circumstances be referred to as a single. It is simply misleading. —Preceding
