Please change the part of the article that states Ricky Whittle as having scored the most tens of 28. After series 15, that title now belongs to Alexandra Burke with a total of 32 tens. 81.98.45.51 ( talk) 22:55, 19 December 2017 (UTC)

Debbie McGee did not get 40 points for dancing an Argentine tango she scored 38. She got 40 for dancing just the tango — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.145.140.115 ( talk) 09:54, 7 January 2018 (UTC)

Logo and title sequence designed and directed since series one by Piers Helm Seymournuts ( talk) 10:03, 24 September 2018 (UTC)
Returning to this edit request I would say that as the Theme music composer is listed in the Wikipedia article then the designer of the shows logo and branding should be too, I further references [2] and [3] Seymournuts ( talk) 07:42, 16 October 2021 (UTC)

Can somebody please add Susannah Constantine to the lowest scoring female celebrities as she has now been eliminated and will be the lowest scoring female at an average of 12.00. 86.184.214.46 ( talk) 21:32, 30 September 2018 (UTC)
Could we add the "Strictly curse" to the controversy section? The BBC has done an article on it [4], so its not just tabloid coverage now. Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 18:34, 9 October 2018 (UTC)
I think that the current article is being significantly bloated by the Main series results, Specials, Live! and Statistics sections that are, in effect, simple lists. Perhaps these need to be separated from the main article to their own articles (i.e. "List of Strictly Come Dancing main series results", "List of Strictly Come Dancing live tours" and so on), so as to keep the main article more focussed on the series as a whole. When compared to other reality show articles such as Big Brother or The X Factor, it definitely needs streamlining. Mosherdude91 ( talk) 14:14, 14 October 2018 (UTC)

Can someone please add the 3 couples choice dances to highest and lowest dances. 86.151.51.72 ( talk) 21:44, 27 October 2018 (UTC)
In the ‘statistics’ section, the three lowest average scoring dancers are listed by name. Susannah Constantine should be listed as part of the three lowest average scores but is not. Also, Charles Venn has been incorrectly stated to have recieved 39 for his Couple’s Choice in the Highest Scores by Dance section. I can’t fix these issues as the page is protected. Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Matt14451 ( talk) 20:39, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

Can somebody please add couple choice to highest and lowest scores for dances. It is now a new dance and would have Lauren Steadmen and AJ Pritchard as lowest scoring couple at 24 and Ashley Roberts and Pasha Kovalev and Faye Tozer and Giovanni Pernice as the highest scoring couple at 39. 2A02:C7D:B490:4200:1C54:68FB:36BC:D838 ( talk) 13:55, 11 November 2018 (UTC)
Ashley Roberts actually has a current average score of 35.67, which would place her just below Kara Tointon as opposed to being tied with Caroline Flack and Denise van Outen who have an average score of 35.13
Joshamilton15 ( talk) 21:24, 18 November 2018 (UTC)
Ashley Roberts now has an average score of 35.70, placing her above Kara Tointon.

The infobox says: "Camera setup: Multi-camera." But looking at the picture at that article the set-up looks wholly static. How do they get the moving shots in Strictly? Is it with a hand-held camera or some other type of moving camera device? Also the show is making increasing use of special lighting techniques like the 3-D projection of the lighthouse for Karim & Amy's dance last night: [5]. I think these should be mentioned somewhere. 86.187.168.156 ( talk) 10:35, 10 November 2019 (UTC)
I was reading through this tonight and thought a review of a particular part of this section where it says:
Alexandra Burke and her partner Gorka Márquez and Ashley Roberts and her partner Pasha Kovalev hold the record of most tens with 32, then that is followed by Faye Tozer and Giovanni Pernice with 31, then Ricky Whittle and his partner Natalie Lowe with 28. However, if the four tens given by Darcey Bussell during her tenure as a fifth judge are removed, he is behind Danny Mac and Oti Mabuse, with 26 tens, and Rachel Stevens and her partner Vincent Simone and Harry Judd and his partner Aliona Vilani with 25 each. They are followed by Natalie Gumede and Artem Chigvintsev and Ore Oduba and Joanne Clifton with 24 each, Caroline Flack and Pasha Kovalev with 23, Abbey Clancy and Aljaž Skorjanec and Debbie McGee and Giovanni Pernice with 22, Kara Tointon and Artem Chigvintsev with 21 and Lisa Snowdon and Brendan Cole, Kimberley Walsh and Pasha Kovalev and Denise van Outen and James Jordan with 20.[95] Of these celebrities, Snowdon and Cole, Flack and Kovalev, Tozer and Pernice and Roberts and Kovalev are the only pairings to receive straight tens from the judges in all of their dances in their respective series finals. Flack and Kovalev and Roberts and Kovalev are the only pairs to manage three sets of perfect 40 marks in the final, and also hold the records for the longest consecutive streak of 40 marks with four, that includes their Salsa and American Smooth in the semi-final shows respectively, and the longest consecutive streak of tens, that adds to a total of 16.
Could do with a review as it makes no sense and I couldn't understand what it was even trying to say? I couldn't edit it in to better words as I am not sure what they mean... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Darce98 ( talk • contribs) 23:37, 7 December 2019 (UTC)
No mention of the contestants who have passed away anywhere. Nowhere on this landing page for the whole series, and nowhere on the individual series pages of the contestants (Jason Wood of S1, Lynda Bellingham of S7, Paul Daniels of S8, and most recently and notably, Caroline Flack - winner of S12). It obviously mentions their passings on individual pages, but do these passings not deserve any mention on this landing page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:8800:5800:27E0:C198:74E4:8149:D4D1 ( talk) 20:53, 24 February 2020 (UTC)
There was there a sister show of Strictly on BBC3 during season one. Don't remember what it was called. It was a guy with big hair that presented it but I can't remember his name. It then moved to BBC2 with a rebrand to ITT.
Did I really see this or did I dream it? It's just not mentioned on the programme almost as if they want it to fad away. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.159.113.237 ( talk) 15:03, 25 October 2020 (UTC)

You know the table just before the professionals why was it changed and also I preferred the old table Superman011 ( talk) 17:51, 24 December 2022 (UTC)
Having looked at this page compared to how it was before the user Bgsu98 edited, I can see countless information was removed. While I can see the logic in removing some information (such as the stats) for being fancruft and only benefitting a very small number of fans, I disagree with the outright removal of the professional dancers table. While I can see that some information in the table is probably not needed, such as the average score for each professional dancer (a clear example of fancruft in regard to professional dancers), I cannot see the entirety of the table being an example of Fancruft, because the real purpose of the table is to show who each professional dancer has been coupled with, and a brief summary of the result. I also cannot see it being an example of original research, because it simply compliles information from each series. For those arguing that this is original research, and doesn't need to be included, I can also point them to dance charts shown on the articles for each series, which collect their information in the exact same way (compiling data from a different part of the article). In the same way, the list of strictly contestants (on a separate article) can also be interpreted as original research if it collects data from other articles. Does anyone think that reinstating the chart (albeit in a slightly modified fashion) would be a good idea? If this table is not reinstated, then other strictly tables around wikipedia should also be removed for reasons stated above? Lawrence 979 ( talk) 19:47, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
Please amend Arlene Phillips' name to Dame Arlene Phillips. Or remove the 'Sir' from Sir Bruce Forsyth and the 'dame' from Dame Darcey Bussell. They should all be treated with fairness and equality.

Does the show have a policy on the experience level of the celebrities? Some reviewers have been critical about certain celebrities being allowed on the show despite their level of experience. ( 78.19.44.17 ( talk) 17:30, 19 December 2023 (UTC))
