Bias
I remember back in the 1990s I was reading back issues of the Hartford Courant and they frequently had little boxes of what the senators and Reps voted on that week. This guy almost always voted with the Democrats. Why isn't his voting record a part of this article? He was a RINO.--

and the New York Times article at the time of his death et. al. Have added reference that and fixed up wording. It was early days of the epidemic and people just were unclear about what was going on. Additionally people were just more "closeted" then.
