Removing the 'citation needed' quote from this article. Henry Larsen, the RCMP officer who captained the St. Roch through the North West Passage is sufficiently well known. Any Canadian child who has successfully made it through public school knows this ship and its captain. Since the ship is still kept at the Vancouver Maritime Museum and its history readily available to the public, I can further attest Henry Larsen captained the St. Roch since I've visited the ship in its Museum --

Hey, they don't make more Canadian than me. My separatist "friends" insult me in a regular fashion for not voting like them, and I still persist in being Canadian. Yet, I had never ever heard of Henry Larsen until I read this article a few days ago. I did my B.A at McGill in History so it isn't as if I never read things on the History of Canada. For more than 20 years of school readings and personal readings all I heard about was captain
Joseph-Elzéar Bernier whenever Arctic exploration was written up. I heard, read about the St Roch sometimes but its captain was never mentioned. But the thing that intrigues me but which is never touched on is who or what was the St Roch named after? —Preceding

Hi - I am new here but I am about to bring new content to the ST ROCH piece because my father is T.G. Parsloe famous criminal investigator(in the 30-40's) for the RCMP and explorer on the ST. ROCH - maiden voyage in the late 20's

The lead currently says the St Roch was the second sailing vessel to transit the Northwest Passage. However, it was the second vessel, or any kind, to do so. So I am removing "sailing".
