it wasn't a great production but I think it's worth mentioning, especially since I reached this page following a link from the page dedicated to Sarah Jessica Parker Plch 22:41, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
I've gone ahead and changed it so this page now reflects the US series, with a link to the Chinese one. I think far more English-speaking people are aware of the US series, and it's still rerun with some regularity. Multiverse 07:54, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
To the person who added a note that the American series was remade years later as Life Made Simple... well, sorry, it wasn't. I've taken that note out. Multiverse 10:30, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
I've put that paragraph about what happened to the cast and Beatts back in. I think it's relevant that while a couple of cast members are still working, the rest have vanished into total obscurity. The series is also arguably Beatts' greatest claim to fame, and her faltering career since is also relevant. Multiverse 07:46, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
I've put that same paragraph back, yet again. I've reworded it some, but I disagree that it's non-neutral. A handful of the actors from this show grew up to be celebrities, while the others either don't act anymore, or they've died. Those are just facts. As for the idea that the post-show info is available in the individual actors' pages... well, you could say that every TV page on Wikipedia contains an assortment of facts available elsewhere on the site. A fan of this show could probably learn this stuff by spending half an hour clicking around on the various actors' pages, but why should they have to? This is a page specifically for this show, and as such I think this paragraph of behind-the-scenes info is as relevant as anything else in the article. Multiverse 07:46, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Although I agree about omitting the actors' post-show lives, the paragraph on the origin of the phrase "square peg" should have remained, or linked to a Wiktionary entry. NBK1122 ( talk) 16:53, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Re: Lauren and Patty: Well, I've added quite a bit of detail to the page. I don't want it to all be coming from me. Could someone add some detail about Patty and Lauren's characters. Glasses, infatuations with other students, fat suit and fake braces. Also, could someone add the actors names for the teachers. And, what was the full name of the diner? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Njsustain ( talk • contribs) 16:22, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
Seriously, you undid an edit that removed the word "sassy" used twice about a Black woman? Could I suggest maybe "lively" or something similar? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.65.147.230 ( talk) 05:23, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
So much original research. Lots42 ( talk) 11:42, 9 March 2011 (UTC)
It seems to me to be unclear what it means to say that Mr. Spacek is "affected but married." Please clarify. PurpleChez ( talk) 14:53, 1 June 2020 (UTC)
Also... despite my comment above the "main characters" section is well-written. It provides a good overview of the characters, without descending into fancruft. But I think that this article would benefit from a separate cast list. Any thoughts? PurpleChez ( talk) 15:00, 1 June 2020 (UTC)
