Assess : newly added and existing articles, maybe nominate some good B-class articles for
GA; independently assess some as A-class, regardless of GA status.
Cleanup : *
Sport governing body (this should-be-major article is in a shameful state) *
Field hockey (History section needs sources and accurate information - very vague at the moment.) * Standardize
Category:American college sports infobox templates to use same font size and spacing. *
Sport in the United Kingdom - the
Popularity section is incorrect and unsourced. Reliable data is required.
* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."

Hi, I work for Sportradar and am working to improve the article. My focus at this stage is to ensure the content is in line with
WP:NPOV guidelines by eliminating promotional tones and excess language. I'd appreciate your review and implementation of the edit requests, followed by removal of the advertisement tag. The following are my suggestions:
In the lead:
Combine the first two sentences by deleting "Sportradar provides services to" and adding "for", so that it reads: "..analyzes sports data for bookmakers, national and international sports federations,..."
In the third paragraph, delete the last two sentences containing excess information, so that the paragraphs reads: "In January 2021, the company announced former Fiserv CEO Jeff Yabuki as Sportradar's new chairman."
In History:
Remove buzz words so that the first sentence reads: "Sportradar started as a software program that extracted betting odds from sports betting companies on the internet."
Clarify acquisitions in the second paragraph with new sources and remove broken reference link, so that it reads: "In 2012, Sportradar merged with Kilka.[1] That same year, private equity firm EQT invested in Sportradar.[2][3] In 2013, Sportradar made several acquisitions, including Attainment of GmbH[4] and Venatrack Ltd.[5]"
In the fourth paragraph, remove promotional language so that the first two sentences read: "In 2015, Sportradar obtained distribution rights for NASCAR, NFL, and NHL. The same year, Revolution LLC led investments in the company from Michael Jordan and Mark Cuban."
Under Sports Betting Services, in the third paragraph, delete the last three sentences, leaving just the first sentence: "Sportradar creates odds for thousands of games across 40 sports."
Under Audio-Visual, OTT and Broadcast Services:
In the first sentence, delete the second half of the sentence, so that the sentence ends after "Sportsman Media Group."
Change the third paragraph to read: "The K League signed a multi-year deal with Sportradar in late 2019 in an effort to extend its international broadcast. This saw coverage reach a record number of territories during the 2020 season."
Under Integrity Services, in the fifth paragraph, delete the last sentence and change the preceding sentence to read: "As of 2016, the Fraud Detection System monitors more than 31,000 European football matches per year."
I acknowledge that these requests are a first step to enhancing the article and hope for collaboration to make further improvements in the future. Thank you.

Almost all of this appears to be an objective improvement to the article, so I've performed these edits, among other cleanup, with one exception: 'Under Sports Betting Services, in the third paragraph, delete the last three sentences, leaving just the first sentence: "Sportradar creates odds for thousands of games across 40 sports."' That would delete more information than I'm comfortable with removing without prior consensus discussion. In detail, the proposed change would remove all the following text: "For in-game betting odds, this requires continuous recalculation of the outcomes using the live data that Sportradar collects or acquires through licenses. These odds are sold as odds suggestions to bookmakers, for matches for which the bookmakers are unable to create their own odds." That seems like informative material, though it does not have a source cited. —

Improving language and additional sources
This
edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered.
In an effort to continue improving the article's reliability and encyclopedic value, I am proposing the following changes in wording, as well as the addition of references:
In the lead:
Change "November 2020" to "2022" to keep the article current.
In History, in the third paragraph, reword for further accuracy and clarity, so that it reads: In September 2014, Sportradar became a 40% shareholder of
NSoft, a software company from Bosnia and Herzegovina. That same year, EQT's Expansion Capital Fund II sold its minority stake in Sportradar to its flagship fund, EQT VI. Reuse references 8 and 9.
In Integrity services:
In the second to last paragraph, remove "notable" and rearrange the sentence so that the events are listed in sequential order.
In the last paragraph, reword the first sentence more concisely and add a source, so the sentence reads: "Sportradar launched its Intelligence & Investigation Services (I&I) in 2013."[1]
SMcCandlish I appreciate your response and tag removal on my prior edit request. I'd value your review of this request and the removal of the remaining tag; my COI is declared on the Talk page and my involvement here follows Wikipedia guidelines. Thanks very much.

We need the sources first, and it'll help matters along if you format them in citation templates not just provide bare URLs. "2022" can be stated only if we have 2022 sourcing. —

SMcCandlish, thanks for your swift reply. Here is a list of existing sentences in the article that I want to further substantiate with the sources included. I have made some minor linguistic tweaks to a few of the sentences where improvement was possible.
In History:
In the fifth paragraph: In 2016, Sportradar acquired Sportman Media Holding, including Laola1.[1][2]
In Sports betting services:
Through the brand Betrader, Sportradar provides bookmakers with several sports betting services.[3]
In the first paragraph: Sportradar provides federations and law enforcement agencies with a system for detecting betting related
match fixing.[6] These services are operated by Sportradar's Security Services division.[7]
In the second paragraph (including some language improvements): Initial services included an Early Warning System developed in 2005 following the
Hoyzer scandal.[8] The use of this system was one of the measures Bundeslinga took for preventing further match-fixing. Later versions included live monitoring, and was relaunched in 2009 as Fraud Detection System (FDS).[7]
In the third paragraph, reuse the current source 22 (PDF) after "
UEFA member nation".
In Federation Partnerships, reword the first paragraph to be more concise and replace broken link: Sportradar has partnered with several sports federations to collect or distribute sports data, including
Handball-Bundesliga and the
ITF.[14]
I've done pretty much all of this, aside from keeping some explanatory language about one company, and some other minor copyediting. I can't see anything controversial in the edits requested or the sources chosen, though others should feel free to revert or improve upon the changes. I also removed the CoI tag on the article since the talk page has two, and the content of the article at present doesn't seem to reflect any identified CoI problems. If I missed something, let me know. —
