This page really shouldn't be here, I mean, they all have to do with the marvel comics character, disambiguation is about other uses, uses that aren't part of the Marvel comics character for instance. —The preceding

I dont see why this disambig page shouldnt be here, perhaps altered in some way, however IMO more people would tend to look up the Spider-Man film, then the character itself, this is a nice simple way to access all the things erroneously titled Spider-Man. I concede you could probably get to most of these pages via the Spider-Man article itself, however that being said I think any extra navigation tool given to the user is a good thing. I also did one for
The Amazing Spider-Man (disambiguation). Anyways it seems to be the standard, eg.
Batman (disambiguation). -

Still, the Batman disambiguation page lists a few items not related to the fictional DC Comics character. Virtually everything here listed concerns media featuring the Lee/Ditko creation Spider-Man. If people are looking for the Spider-Man film, simply typing in "Spider-Man" and looking at the character's appearances in other media will solve the problem. And personally, I don't see why more peope would search for the movie rather than the character of the same name who stars in said movie. To me this page is totally unnecessary.

I think you might be right, but the DAB page does have some uses. (Such as the truck, or the climbers.) The section specifically regarding the character could be shorter though. -

Done -- though some of the comics, shows, and games are called simply "Spider-Man" so I left links to the 'List Of's. -

Spiderman tokusatsu
I've edited that entry in the list as it isn't a
sentai program. It's simply a
tokusatsu hero show with a super robot and
kaiju. It has no "task force" or "team" element to it, which is the definition of "sentai". As the link says "(tokusatsu)" already I chose to use the term live-action as to be more informative to those unfamiliar with the term.

"The Amazing Spider-Man" TV series added- Here's why
Long story short, I came here looking for the late 70s "Spider Man" live action TV series. Couldn't see it.
Eventually figure out- after more work than necessary- that it's called
The Amazing Spider-Man (rather than just "Spider Man") and- presumably- that's why it's not included.
Here's the problem- I'm not an obsessive Spider Man fan, and I didn't know that in advance! I couldn't remember the exact title; I came to this disambiguation page to help me find it.
Including a link to "The Amazing Spider Man" dab page at the bottom isn't a solution- it presupposes one already knows it's called that. (I didn't).
There are good reasons that dab pages are split up on occasion. There are *also* good reasons that we combine similar- but not identical- titles with minor variations the casual/average user is unlikely to be aware of. That's the point- dab pages are navigation aids, and that use should come first and foremost.
If someone can make a good counter-argument to this, please let me know.
